Terry Gill and Sam Eastwood Win the Dumas Bass Club
Fundraiser Tournament on the Arkansas River@Dumas

With the lower number of boats and the reduced weights, you can really
tell that summer time is upon us. Some of the anglers this Saturday
were able to adjust and put together some pretty decent sacks, any of
which I wished Mr. Dwight and I could have brought to the scale, but we
won’t talk about that.
First place went to the team of Terry Gill and Sam Eastwood with a 5 fish
limit of 13.66. It’s pretty much every tournament that either this team or
the 3rd place Eastwood team will be getting a check. (Dangdest thing I
ever saw, they leave Pine Bluff and drive all the way down here by all
that good water just to fish this little pond down here).
2nd place
Coming in with a 5 fish limit of 13.31 was the one man show, David
Shopher. He has become a regular winner here on this pool, 2 previous
1st place finishes and now a second.
3rd place
Rounding out the top three was the team of Jonathan Evans and Mr.
Sam Eastwood with 5 fish for 13.06. See what I mean, this Eastwood
bunch is hard keep out of the winners circle.
Terry Hopkins
Another solo angler, Mr. Terry Hopkins, landed the lunker Big Mouth
Bass, weighing in at 5.22
