Ron Shuffield and Johnny Rowton Win the DeGray Summer
Series on DeGray Lake
30 boats faced warm and windy frontal conditions last night, and with
recent winning weights being in the mid twenties it was thought that it
would take a “slounch donkey” filled bag to even cash a check; this
however was not the case as the fish were brought to the scales. Here is
how the top 3 finished the night.
For the second week in a row first place went to the points leaders
Johnny Rowton and Ronnie Shuffield they had the a solid limit weighing
16.26lbs which earned them $400.00 on the night.
Second place was four fish catching machine Brady Bradford and
Johnathan Swenson the duo hauled in another set of four solid fish that
weighed 13.23lbs. Their bag earned them $200.00 on the night. Guys
“GET5” next week so you can slay the dragons!
Third place was Joey Gentry and AJ Harvey they had 13.11lbs which
included the nights big bass a 4.79lb “Slizzounch”. In total they earned a
hefty $220.00
