Ben Jackson and Barry Sutton Win the DeGray Summer Series
Tournament on DeGray Lake

Twenty-eight boats came out last night and expected it to not take a whole
lot to win with the drastically falling water levels and bright blue bird skies,
but that was not the case as the first few bags began to show up.
Our first place team was Ben Jackson and Barry Sutton. They had a
extremely nice bag for a four hour tournament weighing 17.89lbs. The total
weight was worth $360.00. They also received an additional $100.00 for Big
bass honors with a 6.06lb “TOE ADD”
Second place was Johnny Rowton and “sub” Spencer Shuffield. They had a
solid bag that weighed 16.34lbs which earned them $180.00 on the night.
Third place was “HOLE SITTING” Matt Garner and Evan Hughes. They
had a good limit weighing 14.71lbs which earned them $140.00
Fourth place was “ME” FINALLY! I had a solid limit that I culled up to
multiple times that weighed 13.20lbs. My efforts earned me $60.00. Didn’t
hear much about how the others caught em', so I’m not relinquishing much
either. All I can say is my bite is getting better and I can not wait for next
Monday night!
