Steve Howard Wins the 2008 Disabled Veterans Bass
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle

Steve Howard topped 39 teams fishing the Second Annual Disabled
American Veterans Bass Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5
bass that tipped the scales at 19.75 pounds. The Disabled American
Veterans (DAV) is a great charitable organization benefiting Americans that
have been injured while serving our great country. Through fund raisers
such as this tournament, the DAV raises money to help injured veterans get
medical attention. If you would like to donate to the DAV or would like more

Here's how the top 4 finishing teams caught their fish:
1st - Steve Howard - 5 bass - 19.75 pounds - $2,500.00
Steve fished the lower end of Lake
Dardanelle, where he threw jigs,
chatterbaits, and buzzbaits to catch
his fish. He commented that when
the sun came out, the fish bit much
better.

2nd - Johnny Judkins/Kris Lott - 5 bass - 16.68 pounds - $1,000.00
Johnny and Kris fished Dardanelle
Bay, where they threw Rattletraps
to catch their fish. They commented
that their fish bit early and the PM
sunshine hurt their bite.
