Jared Allen and Wayne Dixon Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!

The Dardanelle Bass club Annual Memorial Day Classic tournament was
held this weekend at the Lake Dardanelle State Park and 38 boats showed
up for the challenge. It was the team of Jared Allen & Wayne Dixon that
capitalized on the two day event and took home top honors on a hot
weekend crowded with pleasure boaters and other fishermen.
1st Place - 29.84lbs - Jared Allen/Wayne Dixon
Jared and Wayne focused on a shallow bite in the mornings and then pulled
out the crankbaits to fill their limits for both days. The bite was slow and they
caught 6 keepers each day, with no multiple fish being caught in one area.
2nd Place - 23.02lbs - Brad/Cameron Southard
Brad and Cameron took a drive and fished up river for shallow fish. Their
bite both days was done at 10 o'clock. They caught their fish on jigs and
topwater baits.
3rd Place - 22.98lbs - Zach King/Joey Fisher
On Day 1, Zach and Joey went from dam to dam throwing crankbaits to get
their fish. On day 2 they stayed in the river area on the lower end throwing
jigs.

4th - Grace/Lee - 22.84lbs
5th - Keene/Keene - 19.35lbs
6th - Lancaster/Judkins - 18.96lbs
7th - Steve Howard - 17.93lbs
