Tray Huddleston Wins Central Pro-Am Tournament on Lake
Dardanelle


















     Tray Huddleston takes the Central Pro-Am on Lake Dardanelle!!!

Tray Huddleston topped 41 pro's fishing the Central Pro-Am Association
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching a total of 29.34 pounds of bass
during the two-day event. The leader board was dominated by local pro's, as
8 out of the top 10 anglers reside in the River Valley. Here's how the top 3
pro's caught their bass:

1st - Tray Huddleston - 10 bass - 29.34 pounds - $5,000.00

Tray found his fish last Sunday, and
on day 1 they were there and
chomping! He made a 30-minute run
upriver and found clear water with a
mix of coontail and pads. He caught
25 keepers on day 1 and had a limit
by 7:30 AM. On day 2, he had 6
keepers in his primary area and was
forced to return to the lower end,
where he was able to cull twice while
fishing brushpiles. His lures of
choice were a Spro Bronzeye Frog
for his shallow fish and a Zoom
Plastic Worm (Plum) for his brushpile
fish.

2nd - Josh Hilton - 10 bass - 28.91 pounds - $1,800.00

On day-one, Josh found a large
school of bass on a shoal. He threw
a Pop-R and a Zara Spook and had
his limit by 7:30 AM. On day-two, he
had to "junk fish" and caught his
bass on several different baits. All
of his bass were caught "upriver".

3rd - Gene Shockey - 10 bass - 26.40 pounds - $800.00

Gene stayed on the lower end on day 1,
had a limit by 8:00 AM, and caught
twelve keepers. On day 2, he headed
upriver and was only able to catch
5 keepers. His primary bait of choice

1st place: Amateur Division: Bill Edwards - 20.36 pounds - $1,100.00

Bill (Ozark, Mo.) fished day 2 with
Josh Hilton, and caught a 16-pound
bag from the back of the boat. His
