Steve Henderson and Randy Hall Win on the Arkansas River!!!
Steve Henderson and Randy Hall topped 47 teams fishing the "Catch A Cure" Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Tournament by catching 5 bass that weighed 14.64 pounds. While 12 teams managed to catch a 5-bass limit, the bite was tough for most as 21 teams failed to bring a bass to the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams caught their fish:
1st - Steve Henderson and Randy Hall - 5 bass - 14.64 pounds
Steve and Randy locked down to the Pine Bluff Pool, where they threw Bomber Crankbaits (firetiger color) and Culprit plastic worms to catch their bass. 2nd - Nathan Martin and Kenneth Owens - 5 bass - 12.70 pounds
Nathan and Kenneth stayed in Pool 6, where they threw crankbaits (Norman), jigs, and finesse worms around straight stretched of rock. They commented that their best bait was the Norman Crankbait and that they caught 7 keepers on the day.

3rd - Wayne Dixon and Mike Zachary - 5 bass - 11.94 pounds
Wayne and Mike locked upriver to catch their bass. Their sack included the day's big bass, a 4.34 pound "Toad" that they caught on a firetiger crankbait.
