Sanders and Arbaugh Win the 29th Annual Bailey's Tournament on
Lake Dardanelle












                         

      Jeff Sanders and Doyle Arbaugh walloped 21.43 pounds to
       take the Bailey's Tournament Crown !!!

Jeff Sanders and Doyle Arbaugh caught 5 bass that tipped the scales at
21.43 pounds to win the 29th Annual Bailey's Tournament (sponsored by the
Lamar bass club) held this Saturday on Lake Dardanelle. Their sack also
included the day's big bass, a 7.53 monster.  Overall, there were a lot of limits
brought in and many sacks in the 14 - 17 pound range. The final standings
(top 10) will be posted when they are made available to Get5. Here's how the
top 3 teams caught their fish:

1st - Jeff Sanders and Doyle Arbaugh - 5 bass - 21.43 pounds

Jeff and Doyle's day started off with a bang, as they caught a limit at their
first stop of the morning. They concentrated their efforts on the Upper end of
Lake Dardanelle, where they threw jigs (Bulldog lures - 5/8 oz. -
Black/brown/orange) and tubes to land their winning stringer.

2nd - Frank Leone and Greg Kremers - 5 bass - 21.25 pounds

Greg and I fished around
wood, vegetation, and rocks
in the Shoal Bay area. We
threw jigs (Revenge 3/8 oz. -
brown, Jewel Eakins 5/16 oz. -
brown/black) to catch our fish.
Our sack included the day's
2nd biggest bass, a 7.13 pound

3rd - Zach and Eddie King - 5 bass - 19.95 pounds

Zach and Eddie fished
Spadra Creek and Piney Bay.
Their bass were caught on
3/8 oz. War Eagle spinnerbaits
(green shad) and Wave Worm
Tiki Sticks (Green Pumpkin).
They landed 20 keepers on
