BassCat Owners Tourney at Morgan Point Bendway
Hunter Baughman and Don Douglas Win on Morgan Point!!!

Hunter and Don topped 22 anglers to take the win at Morgan Point
Bendway on Saturday February 27. This was the first tournament of the
year for the Arkansas BassCat Owners group. This group is made up of
current and former BassCat Boat owners and even people interested in
owning one in the future. Rick Pierce of Basscat Boats even made an
appearance! The word on the street was it was going to be tough!! The
conversation on the water was it was really tough going but these
conversations were quickly stopped at the scales. There were two 20 pounds
sacks and 4 fish weighed in over 6 pounds!! Here is how the top 3 finishers
caught their fish:
1st – Hunter Baughman and Don Douglas - 5 bass – 24.00 pounds
They reported catching this Freakin Huge sack of fish on a jig. Hunter
mentioned that this was his best day ever fishing a tournament!!
Congratulation to this team for a great day!!
2nd Place
2nd – Ken Adamson and Billy Holt, Jr. - 5 bass – 20.33 pounds
It is always difficult to get beat when you have a 20 pounds sack but it
happens. They reported catching all their fish on jigs and lizards. They too
mentioned they had an awesome day!!
3rd – Jim Gill and Kris Lott - 5 bass – 19.25 pounds
Big Bass - Joey Korte
Big Bass – Joey Korte – 7.09 pounds
Joey reported catching this “Donkey” on a jig. He reported catching this
fish in the last 10 minutes of the day. He said he had all his stuff put up in
his boat and was waiting to head in!!
