As predicted earlier this week, the bite was tough on day one of Vince Miller's Arkansas Couples Championship on Lake Dardanelle. The receding cold front left the anglers fishing on a bright blue - far from great conditions - but Danny and Sharon Waldo managed to bring four bass to the scales weighing 10.57 pounds. "We didn't fish the area we intended to" said Danny Waldo, "We just found an area we liked and fished it" Waldo continued. While you would expect the leaders to be confident about their chances to win, Waldo offered sentiments to the contrary. "I don't know what we are going to do tomorrow" -"I'd feel allot better if I knew everyone was going to leave tonight" said Waldo. Fat Chance.
