Jack Woods Wins Anvil Jaw Bass Club Tournament on Lake

10 boats hit the lake on Sunday April 20th hoping for a great day of fishing. Some of
the anglers had fished Lake Hamilton on Saturday in another tournament and were
pumped over the number of limits that were caught that day. The weather was great
when the anglers launched at 6 AM out of the Arkansas Game and Fish ramp.
At the end of the day, the anglers realized the bite was different than it was Saturday
but once again someone figured out what the fish wanted.
1st place went to Jack Woods who had a weight of 10.25 lbs. He said he caught his
fish shallow on a hoot worm.
2nd place went to Kevin Myers with a weight of 10.14 lbs. Kevin said he caught his
fish deep on a green pumpkin jig.
3rd place went to Matt Wellenberger with a weight of 10.09 lbs. He said he caught
his fish on a spinnerbait and flukes. Matt also had the big bass of the day that went
5.36 lbs.
