Local Sponsorship: I wish to thank all our 2006 District 47 ABA local sponsors for your
support. Most of you have agreed to continue for the 2007 season. Some new sponsors
should be noted.
If any member knows of a business that could be a sponsor, I would appreciate you
letting me know. To be an ABA sponsor the cost is $30 or a roll of 37¢ stamps. The sponsor
money received helps me pay the newsletter costs for the season. Sponsors will be listed in
each newsletter, on District tournament schedules and on the ABA website. They will also be
mentioned at each tournament briefing prior to partner drawing. This is a good advertising
tool for our sponsors.

Membership Drive: I will pay $5 of the $10 Big Bass fee each time any member brings in a new
member. I will need your help in spreading the word about American Bass Anglers/MBAA
tournament circuit. We averaged 36 fishermen per contest this past season and I would like to
see this approach 50 this season. Remember the circuit is for you the fishermen. I just run it
for you. Talk to other fishermen.
