Tony Romano Wins the ABA Southwest Regional Championship
on Lake Dardanelle
Tony Romano takes the victory on Lake Dardanelle!!!!
Tony Romano topped 92 anglers fishing the ABA Southwest Regional
Championship on Lake Dardanelle by bringing a two-day total of 25.86
pounds to the scales. Fishing was brutally tough on Lake Dardanelle, as only
one 5 bass limit was brought to the scales during the 2-day event. Here is a
look at how Tony caught his fish:
1st place - Tony Romano - 25.86 pounds
Tony caught all of his fish from shoreline grass. On day 1, he swam a jig to
produce reaction strikes, and fell one fish short of a limit. On day 2, he
dropped a jig in the grass and caught the tournaments only limit and biggest
sack.
Big Bass: Russell Mason - 6.20 pounds

Russell caught his "toad" on a creature bait fished in 16 feet of water.
