Ray Neighbors Wins ABA District 47 Championship on Lake

ABA District 47 fished their year ending two day District Championship June 2 & 3 on
Lake Hamilton. Twenty four anglers fished and the following four anglers received
cash payout. Other anglers received various sponsor gifts/prizes.
1st - Ray Neighbors - 10 fish - 15.44lbs (And Day two Big Bass @ 2.93lbs.) $1155
2nd - William Cerrato - 10 fish - 12.90lbs $622
3rd -George Simonof - 10 fish - 12.53lbs $206
4-Tommy Hibdon - 10 fish - 10.76lbs $156
Day 1 Big Bass - Napoleon Ellis @ 2.42lbs $115
Ray Neighbors was "Angler of Year" and received a rod/reel from sponsor,
Zimmermans Sport Center/Exxon and Paid Regional Championship entry fee of $150
at Red River, Shreveport, La. October 2007 from sponsor, Keystone Liquor's owner
Gerald Paulton.
Ray Neighbors (1st place) caught his fish on Zoom Horny Toad around grass in A.M.
& Jighead worm later in day.
William Cerrato (2nd place) used a Horny Toad in the morning and Marc Diffee Jigs
later in day.
George Simonof (3rd place) used a spinnerbait and tube jigs.
Tommy Hibdon (4th place) used a Yellow Magic topwater bait and Zoom Superhogs
(Watermelon candy)
