Adam Wright and Skipper Grise Win the Super Team
Tournament on Lake Ouachita

Adam Wright and Skipper Grise Win on Lake Ouachita!!!

Adam Wright and Skipper Grise topped 45 teams fishing Vince Miller's
Super Team Tournament on Lake Ouachita by catching 5 bass that weighed
18.32 pounds. With rising water levels and cold water temperatures, the bite
was tough on the "big pond", as only eight 5 bass limits crossed the stage.
Here's how the top 3 teams caught their fish:

1st - Adam Wright and Skipper Grise - 5 bass - 18.32 pounds - $2,500.00

Adam and Skipper threw Norman
DLN crankbaits (spring crawdad)
around grassy main lake points to
catch their bass.

                                                                  Adam Wright and Skipper Grise

2nd - Mel and Gene Davis - 5 bass - 14.68 pounds - $1,000.00

Mel and Gene threw a red rattletrap
to catch their bass. They commented
that a slow yo-yo type retrieve was
the key to their bite.

                                                                           Gene and Mel Davis

3rd - Jason Ballentine/Timmy Poe - 4 bass - 14.38 pounds - $860.00

Jason and Timmy used Excaliber
XR-75 and Lucky Craft lipless
crankbaits (Red) to catch their
bass. Their sack included the day's
big bass, a 6.82 "mule" which earned
them an additional $820.00

Here's the rest of the top 8:

4th - Tracy Harmon/Dennis Bean - 5 bass - 14.04 pounds - $600.00
5th - Dulin Smith/David Davis - 4 bass - 13.68 pounds - $400.00
6th - Kevin Reynolds/Les Miller - 5 bass - 13.41 pounds - $400.00
7th - Hal Murray/Wayne Crumpton - 3 bass - 13.33 pounds - $400.00
8th - Matt Lea/Danny Myatt - 5 bass - 12.72 pounds - $400.00
